[ She makes that kiss linger for as long as she can. ]

You always are. [ She looks at him for a long moment, taking a moment to just... appreciate everything he is. Then she leans in and kisses him again. ]

[ Oh, well this...sure is a lot of kissing, which he's completely thrilled about. He pulls her in and leans into it, fingers moving to thread through her hair.

One hand finds that compass she'd been using to text Jackson, and he tries to push it away. If she wants a distraction, he's more than happy to give her one. ]

[ She wanted a distraction and she wanted to forget and she wanted Scott. And he responded to that. He was leaning in and pulling her close and kissing her back.

Her hand ran up the side of his neck and to the back of his head as she pressed closer to him. She held him against her, even as she felt him nudging at her compass and pushing it away from her. Her fingers loosened and she let it go, wrapping her other arm around him to kiss him more deeply. ]
