From Jurassic Park and thanks to my noggin. I'm an electrical engineer you know.

The latter might be accurate, but so long as I'm in my right mine, you have no reason to fear me.

You must trust me to tell me that bit of information.

The feeling is mutual.

[She understands the importance of this sort of information, and has no intent on spreading it unless it will save lives.]

Who says a healthy dose of paranoia can't help?

So long as I'm in my right mind.

[It goes unsaid that the same applies to him.]

If only zapping Jackson every time he's unnecessarily mean could be considered wise.
thevelmster: (ORLY?)

I suppose that would put quite some strain on the battery.

I don't think talking would factor in too well if I took a dinosaur powered cattle prod to his precious hide.

Let's just say I do not miss high school.

You probably miss the normalcy of it in addition to the obvious lack of torture and death.

So it's not stupid.
thevelmster: (Pause)

We didn't have long conversations about his high school life beyond a few, key points. Namely Jackson's Kanima experience.
thevelmster: (Frown)

[personal profile] thevelmster 2014-03-13 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
Oh.

Out of morbid curiosity, what's the frequency of non-natural death and torture in your charming hometown?
thevelmster: (Thoughtful)

[personal profile] thevelmster 2014-03-13 12:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm surprised that you don't have a media circus in your town, be it national or local. Murders and weird deaths tend to attract them like bees to honey.

For everyone's sake, I hope it does reach a second derivative of zero and quickly becomes negative.

[Do you remember your Calculus at all Scott?]
thevelmster: (Excited explaining)

[personal profile] thevelmster 2014-03-17 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Just a little math humor. I'm sorry.

[She is and she isn't, but she's also totally willing to teach him to understand said humor.]

I just said I hope the rate of unnatural deaths slows down and eventually starts decreasing. The graph looks a bit like a bell curve.
thevelmster: (Iffy)

[personal profile] thevelmster 2014-03-21 12:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm fairly certain bell curves exist in your world.

I hope so too. I really do.
thevelmster: (Sad)

[personal profile] thevelmster 2014-03-22 02:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh.

Well I'm sorry then. Really.

[Velma doesn't like the idea of more people dying, particularly if it's centered around a high school full of students.]
thevelmster: (Facepalm)

[personal profile] thevelmster 2014-03-22 02:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't mean to do that. Honest.

[Now she just feels really bad.]

You're a good one, you'll help save people like you do here.
