Maybe by virtue of a complete lack of any human-related scents or something like that. Is there anything unusual about their heartbeat, and if so would he be able to hear it? Uuuh well it's not so much unusual as it is nonexistent; Jack actually doesn't have any pulse at all 8|; Can Scott tell when your character is lying? He's welcome to try! I imagine the lack of pulse might complicate things somewhat, but there's body language and things as well. And Jack hasn't had much practice with lying to people so it'll probably be horribly obvious if he ever tries anyway pfff Does your character have a particular scent? What would they smell like to Scott? Probably just snow and lake water, perpetually.
Of course, all of this is assuming that Scott would actually know Jack's there in the first place, if they were ever to meet in person! Being a spirit, Jack's existence kinda runs on a belief filter for everyone else, so a lot of the tangibility of the stuff in this form would actually depend on where Scott falls on that; for example, if Scott's a nonbeliever, he wouldn't be able to pick up on any of these things initially. Still, I figured I might as well fill this out anyway to be on the safe side c:
